Greetings, I am interested in the Landscape Architect Intern position to further improve my skills and career. I was born and raised outside of Houston, Texas and I currently am a student at Texas Tech University majoring in Landscape Architecture and minoring in architectural studies. I grew up with an imaginative and creative mindset and have always known I was going to pursue a designed based career. Over time, I realized my objective in my future is to make an IMPACT on people’s lives. Landscape Architecture to me is creating a better tomorrow and impacting people’s lives through design and experience in a site. I have developed a solid foundation in the principles of design, environmental sustainability, and urban planning. My experience in school includes working on a variety of residential, commercial, and urban development projects. I collaborated with teams, along with working independently to bring creative and functional designs. Additionally, I am proficient in using software’s such as AutoCAD, Lumion, ArcGIS, SketchUp, and a variety of Adobe software. I also have a solid ability in using Rhino along with 3ds Max. I believe I am a strong candidate for your internship because I am highly motivated, I want to contribute however I can, whether small or large, and I want to further improve my skills by working with you all.
